راهنمای خرید سنگ ساختمان با توجه به سابقه در عرضه ی انواع سنگ در صنایع سنگ نیاسر به صورت زیر بیان میشود:
میزان جذب آب ، بافت سنگ ، مقاومت سنگ
حال به شرح هریک از این موارد میپردازیم.
میزان جذب آب
یکی از مواردی که سنگ های مرغوب و مناسب مخصوصا سنگ هایی که در نما و فضای بیرونی و محیط های آبریز استفاده می شوند باید به همراه خود داشته باشند،
جذب آب پایین می باشد.
میزان جذب آب در سنگ های ساختمانی تاثیر بسیار زیادی می گذارد ؛
و اگر جذب آب یک سنگ بالا باشد هم مقاومت سنگ در برابر خورد شدگی و هم در برابر لکه پذیری بسیار کاهش می یابد.
در هنگام خرید سنگ به میزان تخلخل و فرج های سطح سنگ توجه بسیار زیادی نمایید ؛
چرا که دلیل اصلی جذب آب در سنگ های ساختمانی خلل و فرج بافت آن ها می باشد.
بافت آن
از دیگر مواردی که باید به هنگام خرید سنگ به آن توجه نمود، بافت مناسب و قابل قبول آن می باشد.
سنگ هایی که از بافت سالم برخوردار هستند، دارای شیار، ترک و رگه های سست نمی باشند.
وجود رگه های سست و ترک در سنگ موجب پایین آمدن طول عمر آن ها می شود ؛
و سبب می شود تا مقاومت آن ها در حد بسیار زیادی کاهش یابد.
مقاومت سنگ
بررسی مقاومت سنگ از دیگر موارد است که باید توجه بسیار زیادی به آن نمود.
یک سنگ ساختمانی مرغوب و مناسب از مقاومت بالایی در برابر محیط های شیمیای و سایشی برخوردار است ؛
و علاوه بر این ها در برابر هوازدگی و تغییرات دمایی نیز استحکام و دوام بالا دارد.
سنگ هایی که در محیط خارجی ساختمان و در تماس با عوامل بیرونی قرار دارند باید از مقاومت در برابر اشعه خورشید، آلودگی و باران های اسیدی نیز برخوردار باشند.
